The Conti Serristori winery is based in Gaggiano, 300 metres asl, on the Chianti Classico hills, along the road from Poggibonsi to Castellina.

The brand is named after the venerable and renowned Florentine noble family,whose ties to the world of wine date back to 15th century, when Antonio Serristori, senator of the Republic of Florence, married the last heir of Niccolò Machiavelli, who brought with her a dowry including the farm, vines and olive groves of Sant’Andrea in Percussina.

The Wine House Conti Serristori is located at Gaggiano, at 300 metres altitude on the hills of Chianti Classico along the road which goes from PoggibonsI to Castellina. Conti Serristori is a noble Florentine family which, 4 centuries ago, acquired, through marriage, the Machiavelli family’s estate of Sant’ Andrea in Percussina where the great Niccolò, exiled from Florence, wrote his most important works (Il Principe, Mandragola and Clizia). Our dedication to quality viticulture and the unique combination of altitude, soils, sun exposure and a favourable microclimate, make our lands famous throughout the world.
