Deep red colour. Has an intense bouquet with notes of plums and cherries in liqueur, with balsamic nuances of eucalyptus. The taste is rich, full, warm, with nice spicy and “chinato” -like finish.
Food Pairings
The wine’s density and sweetness make it a fantastic match for cheeses that can stand up to its intensity, Blue cheeses and Percorino Sardo. Also works well with foie gras, Dark Chocolate, Cocoa-based desserts and Dried Fruit and Nut Cakes.
