PRODUCTION DISTRICT:
Vineyards in the Bardolino DOC zone, on the eastern shore of Lake Garda.
TYPE OF SOIL:
Very stony, gravelly morainic soil.
TRAINING SYSTEM:
Veronese pergola.
HARVEST:
Around mid-September.
WINEMAKING METHOD:
The grapes are pressed and fermented on the skins until the must obtains the desired colour nuance. The fermentation is slow and at controlled temperature with selected yeasts. Before the bottling the wine waits for a short period in stainless steel tanks.
RECOMMENDED CELLARING:
1 year in bottle, laid horizontally in a dark place at the right temperature and humidity.
