The owner’s reserve. A wine strongly wanted by Giovanni Folonari to order to represent his idea of Gran Selezione.
Only Sangiovese grapes from Tenuta di Nozzole and the return to tradition through the use of large seasoned wooden barrels, a typical Tuscan aging method. Numbered bottles and a limited production.
Vintage: After a mild autumn and winter not particularly rainy, spring began with good weather and then gave way to cooler and occasionally rainy days in the months of May and June. The summer until the end of August was generally hot and dry, conditions that allowed for an excellent balance of grape production. The months of September and October allowed for a regular harvest thanks to a good alternation of sun and rain.
