PRODUCTION ZONE
The vineyards are in the hills between Cormons and San Floriano del Collio, a zone with good exposure and ideal temperature swings which favour the formation of aromatic precursors in the grapes.

Marl and sandstone soil known locally as ‘”ponca” and in which marine fossils are often found.
TRAINING SYSTEM
Guyot and cappuccina.
HARVEST
By mid-September.
WINEMAKING METHOD
– The de-stemmed grapes undergo soft pressing
– The first-pressing must is then fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks
– Once the residual sugars have been used up, the wine is left to settle in steel in contact with noble lees
