Roero, a small area on the left bank of the Tanaro river, in front of the production area of Barbaresco. Arneis variety was present in this region as early as 1478.
NAME ORIGIN
“Perste'” is a homage to Micaela’s first son, who joined the family in 2014.
VINEYARD
The soil is rich of calcareous clay marl and sand on the south and southeast, which allows to obtain a very high quality.
Intense straw yellow, wide and fine, with notes of peach and apricot. Great structure and minerality, bodied, smooth and fresh. Balanced between minerality, alcohol and acidity.
Food Pairings
Excellent as an aperitif – Pairs well with Piedmont starters like vitello tonnato, filled zucchini flowers, white meat or raw porcini mushrooms salad. Highly recommended with fish specialities, whether raw or cooked
