The Vermentino Blu is a harmonious, well-balanced wine with great freshness and minerality. What characterizes it is its immediate connection to the sea and the marine breeze, from which Blu draws its savory quality and unique taste. Made from Vermentino grapes, it represents one of the most important and widely distributed labels of Cantina Santa Maria La Palma. In the glass, it appears as a bright straw yellow with delicate greenish reflections. On the palate, it stands out for its pronounced sapidity and marked mineral note, which immediately evoke the sensations of the Sardinian sea, from which the wine takes its inspiration and name.
Grapes variety: Vermentino di Sardegna DOC
Vinification and aging: after soft pressing, cold fermentation takes place at a temperature of 16 ° C; in order to enhance the natural aromas of this blend while preserving its freshness, the refinement is
carried out in steel, leaving our Vermentino in contact with the noble lees (batonnage sur lies). The maturation process is completed with refining in the bottle.
