BOLGHERI 2021
Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC)
ABOUT THE WINE
A blend of international grapes such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes from the estates production parcels, Campo al Mare stands out for its unique style. A great softness and wide flexibility in pairings.
Vintage: Characterised by a spring balanced in temperatures and rainfall, the year had a hot, dry summer, that led to the harvesting of grapes rich in sugars and phenols. Slightly early harvest but without interruptions.
Tasting: Marked by a bright and lively purple red colour, the 2021 vintage reveals hints of flowers, red fruit, aromatic herbs and elegant spice notes of milk chocolate and vanilla. Crunchy on the palate, the wine shows silky and plush but never sharp tannins and a pleasant, vinous, harmonious finish.
Pairing: Villa di Nozzole suggests to combine it with Leghorn fish soup with mayonnaise saffron
