VARIETIES
Sauvignon Blanc.
PRODUCTION
Mostly from vineyards around Gorizia and San Floriano del Collio and
Zegla, two zones which are geographically near to each other but
enjoying quite distinct pedi-climatic features. The more exposed grapes in
San Floriano produce more intense and structured wines while the grapes
from Zegla result in markedly delicate and fragrant wines.

150-200 metres above sea level.
TYPE OF SOIL
Terraced cultivation in marl- and sandstone-rich soils with a healthy sandy
and mineral element.
TRAINING SYSTEM
Guyot and Cappuccina
HARVEST
Hand-picked in early September.
WINEMAKING METHOD
The partial cold maceration process and lack of contact with oxygen
ensure that the variety’s unique aromas are delivered directly into the
bottle along with an elegance coming from a brief passage in 25hl barrels.
SENSORY PROFILE
A delicate yellow colour with pale green highlights; very intense aromas
with notes of passion fruit, nettle, sage and boxwood; sharp and fresh
flavoured with a distinct and lingering mineral finish.

13 %.
