Soave Classico DOCG Castelcerino Cantina di Soave

The Unità Geografiche Aggiuntive (SGI: Supplementary Geographical Indications) designation for the Soave wine production zone, recognized by the Ministry of Agricultural policies, provides an opportunity to promote this historical winegrowing area, where high-quality viticulture has been practiced for more than 200 years. Castelcerino, an SGI in the Soave Classico zone, is one of the most prominent areas in the denomination and among its oldest. The new Soave Classico DOC Castelcerino Rocca Sveva, a white wine produced solely from grapes grown in the Castelcerino area, exhibits precise characteristics classic to this unique terroir.

Soil profile: The vineyards that yield Castelcerino Rocca Sveva are planted on hillslopes with limestonederived soils with clay texture, a combination that gives the wine elegant aromas yet at the same time intensity, fine structure, and extraordinary length Maturation. The wine matures in steel just enough time to develop the appealing aromas and rich flavours that set it apart as a great Italian white wine
