About Cantina di Mogoro

A small farsighted producers gave birth to our Winery back in 1956, draping the land with noble vineyards. Gentle, sun kissed hills and a wild creek mark the territory of our prehistoric ancestors who lived in the Puisteris area, nowadays known as Mogoro.

Our small village is renowned for precious traditional carpet production and old buildings make with dark balsalt rock, plus it’s marked by the Nuragic fortress of Cuccurada standing on a hilltop straight across our Winery.

Semidano, Monica, Cannonau, Vermentino, Bovale, Nuragus and moscato are the main grape varieties on a 250 hectares of vineyards, deeply controlled and loved by the cooperative members.

They, in fact, care about producing excellent wines to represent our Winery and sardinia throughout Europe and overseas.

Thanks to their work, fabulous grapes, careful aging and skillful processing, our wines excel for quality and bouquet. Many awards, certifications and multiple prizes can confirm the greatness of our Winery production, the skills of its human resources and the total dedication to the growth in our present and future.
