Vermentino Aragosta is a symbol of Sardinian food and wine. This label was born in 1967, the year in which the Vermentino di Sardegna DOC “Aragosta” was bottled for the first time. The journey of Vermentino Aragosta is long and full of awards. Alongside several medals won in competitions around the world, in 2018 it was named by Wine Spectator – International Wine Bible – as one of the 100 best wines in the world in terms of price-quality ratio. Today it is officially the best-selling bottled wine in Italy. Vermentino Aragosta over the years has established itself as a wine capable of conquering millions of people, all over the world, who choose this bottle to enjoy a fresh wine, easy to drink, with the thought of Alghero, Sardinia and its sunny seasons.
Vinification and refinement: soft pressing followed by a two weeks fermentation at 16°C. The refinement will be then made through bâtonnage sur lies till the bottling (from a minimum period of two months onwards).
Serving temperature: 8° -10 ° C.
