Producer Spotlight:

Poggio Le Volpi

Set within a volcanic landscape rich in minerals and naturally fertile soils, the Mergè family has successfully combined tradition with innovation, transforming Poggio Le Volpi into one of Lazio’s most respected and acclaimed wineries.

Each wine is crafted with respect for the land, careful grape selection, and winemaking techniques designed to enhance the character of native grape varieties, including Malvasia del Lazio, Malvasia di Candia, Bombino, Trebbiano, and Montepulciano — authentic expressions of this unique terroir.

Today, Poggio Le Volpi remains the heart and soul of I Viticoltori: a story of family, passion, and dedication that continues to evolve with every harvest.

About Poggio Le Volpi

Poggio Le Volpi was born from the deep connection between the Mergè family and the land of the Colli Albani, a region with a long-standing tradition of viticulture.

In 1996, in Monte Porzio Catone, Poggio Le Volpi was established, marking the first major step of the I Viticoltori group, which today is recognised as one of the leading names in the Italian wine industry.
